Wildfire Protection Plan

Community Wildfire Protection Plan

The West Douglas County Fire Protection District is particitpating in the Douglas County Community Wildfire Protection Plan. The paln will include a county-wide wildfire hazard assessment, identification of communities at risk, and recommendations on how communities can reduce their risk to wildfire. Here is a link to the Douglas County Wildfire Protection Plan Web page

There was community meeting on the plan on Tuesday October 26th. Over 40 citizens attended.
